The Native American people lived in the area in what we now know as Neenah for many years. At our Native American Inter-Tribal Pow Wow on September 22, 2018, David O’Connor, Education Consultant of the American Indian Studies Program with the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, gave a short presentation on American Indian Studies (Wisconsin Act 31). Mr. O’Connor has shared with us additional resources regarding the American Indian nations and tribal communities in the state of Wisconsin.
