Join the Neenah Historical Society for a collaborative program with the Neenah Library for a short film screening and discussion of “Suffragettes in the Silent Cinema” which was produced by Women Make Movies. The film highlights the popular culture of the early 1900s in regards to the women’s suffrage movement. In the coming year, we will be focusing on the one hundredth anniversary of women’s right to vote in the United States and the local women who were leaders in this movement. The program will be held in the Shattuck Room at the Neenah Public Library. The program is free and open to the public. Call 729-0244 with any questions.
