Join the Neenah Historical Society at the Neenah Library for an overview of the our next exhibit which will be opening to the public on May 19th at the Octagon House. Professor Steven Sheehan will present an overview of the exhibit and some of the interesting stories that have been discovered relative to the local women’s suffrage movement. This year marks the one hundredth anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment in Wisconsin, which was the first state to vote in favor of ratification. Our local women had a very significant impact on its passage! The program will be held in the Shattuck Room at the Neenah Public Library and is free and open to the public. Call 729-0244 with any questions.
